OUR PASSION
4SCENE Film Festival is a platform dedicated to showcasing the productions of independent filmmakers; creating a space that encourages networking and support amongst creatives, and building audiences for unique screening experiences.
The first installment of the event was held on June 25, 2020 at Tibbs Drive-In Theatre, and has since screened over 200 films in support of the cinematic arts. The platform also hosts the 4SCENE Filmmaker Showcase: an event that spotlights the films of local professionals, and a curated roster of student filmmakers—cultivating meaningful connections and learning opportunites.

Our
Story
4SCENE Film Festival was created in January of 2020, by Founder, Tai Payne, with the help of Program Director, Mark Steenbarger, and Communications Director, Faith Payne.
In the heat of the pandemic, the festival platform created an environment at the drive-in theatre that allowed the community to engage with each other and support the cinematic arts, while also safely practicing social distancing.
So much media is pumped out every second of the day. Filmmakers needed a space to separate their work from all the noise; a place where people could see, hear, and fully experience a piece of work in the way the artist envisioned.
Get to Know Us
We learned by building a cinematic experience for the community, we could support local filmmakers by helping their stories be seen and experienced in the way it was truly designed to be: on the big screen.
A major goal behind the festival was to create a space where filmmakers could meet one another, network on ways they could connect on upcoming projects, or start fresh ideas for new stories to be told. It also serves as an environment that encourages genuine feedback from their peers to progress.
We accept narrative content of many genres: short films, documentaries, episodic, music videos, commercials, web-series, abstract, animations, and more.
